I finally got a picture into my profile! (That's what happens when you read ALL the instructions.) Now, the question is can I get that same picture into this post?
Woohoo! It worked! Now, I think I'll follow my kitty's lead and take a nap.Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13696153761990761976noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7085983714587419449.post-89503384819511858052007-08-04T15:26:00.000-07:002007-08-04T15:46:32.561-07:00Week 1, Thing 2: Pointers From Lifelong LearnersSo, here we go...

The hardest habit for me is Habit 2, by far: accept responsibility for your own learning. This blog is proof itself. It was set up in June and now it's August and I'm just now getting around to making the first posts! You might also notice I'm doing week 1 tasks when I should be zipping along doing week 4 tasks.

The easiest habit for me is Habit 4: have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner. I've never had any doubt that I can do anything I decide I want to do. The only hiccup though is that I also believe I should be able to do it perfectly the first time I try it. I have become a little easier on myself as I get older. I do acknowledge that if I'm not happy with something the first time I try it, it'll be better the second time, and even better still the third time. That now allows me to get back to something quicker to give it a second try. Now I crave the challenge to do it better, rather than get aggravated with myself for it not being picture perfect.Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13696153761990761976noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7085983714587419449.post-68155222156439590952007-06-14T08:37:00.000-07:002007-06-14T08:38:41.789-07:00Just TestingThis is a test, this is only a test!Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13696153761990761976noreply@blogger.com2
